What is in the REST Toolkit

The REST Toolkit provides the following:

  1. Libraries that provide the core functionality for all the toolkits. This is commonly referred to as the Snippet Framework and is included in ALL the toolkits.

  2. Libraries that provides common out of the box Steps. Steps are the most important aspect of the toolkits since these Steps are used to actually build your powerpack. The common steps are steps that are available in ALL Toolkits.

  3. Libraries that provide REST specific steps. These steps are only applicable when building REST powerpacks and thus are ONLY included in the REST Toolkit.

  4. Provides example Snippet Dynamic Applications that enable SL1 to collect configuration and performance data from REST APIs.

  5. Dynamic Applications that let you discover and monitor a SL1 system on which you can create and experiment with the Snippet Dynamic Applications that you build
