SL1 Core Reports PowerPack Release Notes, version 120

Version 120 of the "SL1 Core Reports " PowerPack addresses numerous defects from previous releases.

  • Minimum Required Skylar One (SL1) Version: 12.1.2

Before You Install or Upgrade

Ensure that you are running version 12.1.2 or later of Skylar One before installing the "SL1 Core Reports " PowerPack.

Installation or Upgrade Process

To install version 120 of the "SL1 Core Reports " PowerPack, perform the following steps:

To install this PowerPack:

  1. Search for and download the PowerPack from the PowerPacks page at the ScienceLogic Support Center (Skylar One > PowerPacks).

  2. In Skylar One (formerly SL1), go to the PowerPacks page (System > Manage > PowerPacks).

  3. Click the Actions menu and choose Import PowerPack. The Import PowerPack modal appears.

  4. Click Browse and navigate to the PowerPack file from step 1.

  5. Select the PowerPack file and click Import. The PowerPack Installer modal displays a list of the PowerPack contents.

  6. Click Install. The PowerPack is added to the PowerPack Manager page.

Enhancements and Issues Addressed

The following enhancements and addressed issues are included in this release:

  • Resolved several issues with the "Asset List" report to ensure that the metric outputs generate properly and in the format selected during the report configuration. (Cases: 00491760, 00494179) (Jira IDs: EM-72275, EM-72433)

  • Updated the "Device Outage History" report to include events for devices where the "Avail+Latency" alert is enabled. (Case: 00315265) (Jira ID: EM-55704)

  • Updated the report template file for the "Device Utilization" report to properly include all charts when generating an ODS format output file. (Jira ID: EM-60426)

  • Ensured that the "Device Utilization" and "Device Top Utilization" reports accurately reflect the CPU and memory usage data collected from devices. (Cases: 00432164, 00435859, 00445507, 00459439, 00526684) (Jira IDs: EM-64614, EM-65530)

  • Corrected a miscalculation of used space by percentage in the "File System" report template to ensure it no longer reports values over 100%. (Jira ID: EM-74180)

  • Ensured that the "File System Thresholds" report populates the correct data when generated on a Database Server running Aurora 3. (Case: 00515348) (Jira ID: EM-74138)

  • Resolved an issue that caused the "Interfaces In Use" report to generate an empty report if you selected the Interfaces currently down only option when configuring the report. (Case: 00356292) (Jira ID: EM-59142)

  • Updated the "Interface Usage" report template to fix inconsistent measurements between MB/day and MB/sec metrics. (Case: 00515299) (Jira ID: EM-74619)

  • Ensured that the ScienceLogic logo properly displays across all reports included with the "SL1 Core Reports" PowerPack. (Jira ID: EM-60416)
