Datacenter Automation Utilities PowerPack Release Notes, version 104

Version 104 of the Datacenter Automation Utilities PowerPack adds the “Datacenter Automation: Format HTML Output for ServiceNow Scoped" automation action to the PowerPack.

  • Minimum Required SL1 Version: 8.10.0

Before You Install or Upgrade

Ensure that you are running version 8.10.0 or later of SL1 before installing "Datacenter Automation UtilitiesPowerPack version 104.

NOTE: If you are using the Datacenter Advanced EnrichmentPowerPack, it must be installed last after any automation PowerPacks have been installed. To use the Datacenter Advanced Enrichment, you must re-install it after installing any new automation PowerPacks.

Installation and Upgrade Process

To install this PowerPack:

  1. Search for and download the PowerPack from the PowerPacks page (Product Downloads > PowerPacks & SyncPacks) at the ScienceLogic Support Site.
  2. In SL1, go to the PowerPacks page (System > Manage > PowerPacks).
  3. Click the Actions menu and choose Import PowerPack. The Import PowerPack modal appears.
  4. Click Browse and navigate to the PowerPack file from step 1.
  5. Select the PowerPack file and click Import. The PowerPack Installer modal displays a list of the PowerPack contents.
  6. Click Install. The PowerPack is added to the PowerPack Manager page.

  • Automation actions for formatting the output from the automation actions in the Datacenter Automation Pack PowerPacks.

Enhancements and Issues Addressed

The following enhancements and addressed issues are included in version 104 of the "Datacenter Automation Utilities" PowerPack:

  1. A new automation action, “Datacenter Automation: Format HTML Output for ServiceNow Scoped”, has been added to the PowerPack. This automation action adds diagnostic data in HTML format, and the output is displayed in the ServiceNow work note.
