Features

This release includes the following features:

  • Includes a new action type, "Make an HTTP Request". This action type can be used to build an automation action that performs an HTTP request. When you create an automation action using this new action type, you specify the SOAP/XML credential to use, the relative URL for the request, and the payload to be sent with the request.

This PowerPack does not include automation actions or policies.

Automation Actions that use the "Make an HTTP Request" action type will output the same dictionary structure as the other action types supplied in the Datacenter Automation PackPowerPacks (e.g. "Execute Commands via SSH"). However, the formatting actions in the Datacenter Automation UtilitiesPowerPack are not designed to format typical HTTP responses, such as JSON or XML.
