Version 106 of the "Linux SSH Automation" PowerPack adds version 2.0 of the "Execute Shell Commands" Run Book Action type to the PowerPack.

Before You Install or Upgrade
Ensure that you are running version 8.10.0 or later of Skylar One before installing the "Linux SSH Automation" PowerPack.

You must install version 101 or later of the "Datacenter Automation Utilities" PowerPack before proceeding.
Installation or Upgrade Process
To install version 106 of this PowerPack, perform the following steps:
- Search for and download the PowerPack from the PowerPacks page (Skylar One > PowerPacks ) at the ScienceLogic Support Site (login required).
- In SL1, go to the PowerPacks page (System > Manage > PowerPacks).
- Click the Actions menu and choose Import PowerPack. The Import PowerPack modal appears.
- Click and navigate to the PowerPack file from step 1.
- Select the PowerPack file and click . The PowerPack Installer modal displays a list of the PowerPack contents.
- Click . The PowerPack is added to the PowerPack Manager page.

This release includes the following features:
- Enrich SL1 events for Linux devices by automatically running diagnostic commands via a remote SSH connection.
- Run remediation commands via a remote SSH connection in response to SL1 system process events for Linux devices.
Enhancements and Issues Addressed
The following enhancements and addressed issues are included this release of the PowerPack:
- Version 2.0 of the "Execute Shell Commands" Run Book Action type was added to the PowerPack, introducing the "dynamic_app_guid" and "auto_prompt_reset" action types. Version 2.0 will accept the previous result of "EM7_LAST_RESULT" or " EM7_LAST_RESULT['x']" and execute those commands.
