Version 106 of the Linux SSH Automations PowerPack adds version 2.0 of the "Execute Shell Commands" Run Book Action type to the PowerPack.

Before You Install or Upgrade
Ensure that you are running version 8.10.0 or later of SL1 before installing "Linux SSH Automations" PowerPack version 106.

You must install version 101 or later of the Datacenter Automation Utilities PowerPack before proceeding.
Installation or Upgrade Process
To install version 106 of the Linux SSH Automations PowerPack, perform the following steps:
- See the Before You Install or Upgrade section. If you have not done so already, upgrade your system to the 8.10.0 or later release.
- Familiarize yourself with the Known Issues for this release.
- Download the Linux SSH Automations version 106 PowerPack to a local computer.
- Go to the PowerPack Manager page (System > Manage > PowerPacks). Click the menu and choose Import PowerPack. Import the Linux SSH Automations version 106 PowerPack. For details on importing PowerPacks, see the chapter on Installing a PowerPack in the PowerPacks manual.

Features
This release includes the following features:
- Enrich SL1 events for Linux devices by automatically running diagnostic commands via a remote SSH connection.
- Run remediation commands via a remote SSH connection in response to SL1 system process events for Linux devices.
Enhancements and Issues Addressed
The following enhancements and addressed issues are included this release of the "Linux SSH Automations" PowerPack:
- Version 2.0 of the "Execute Shell Commands" Run Book Action type was added to the PowerPack, introducing the "dynamic_app_guid" and "auto_prompt_reset" action types. Version 2.0 will accept the previous result of "EM7_LAST_RESULT" or " EM7_LAST_RESULT['x']" and execute those commands.
