Restorepoint Automation PowerPack, version 103

Version 103 of the "Restorepoint Automation" PowerPack updates the PowerPack to use the new "/apilogin" endpoint to address an issue that caused the integration to break.

This PowerPack works in conjunction with the "Datacenter Advanced Enrichment Actions" PowerPack.

Before You Install or Upgrade

Ensure that you are running version 11.2.0 or later of SL1 before installing "Restorepoint AutomationPowerPack version 103.

You must install version 103 of the "Datacenter Automation Utilities" PowerPack before proceeding. You can access this PowerPack from the PowerPacks page on the ScienceLogic Support Site.

Installation and Upgrade Process

To install this PowerPack:

  1. Search for and download the PowerPack from the PowerPacks page (Product Downloads > PowerPacks & SyncPacks) at the ScienceLogic Support Site.
  2. In SL1, go to the PowerPacks page (System > Manage > PowerPacks).
  3. Click the Actions menu and choose Import PowerPack. The Import PowerPack modal appears.
  4. Click Browse and navigate to the PowerPack file from step 1.
  5. Select the PowerPack file and click Import. The PowerPack Installer modal displays a list of the PowerPack contents.
  6. Click Install. The PowerPack is added to the PowerPack Manager page.

Features Included in this Release

The following features were included in this release:

  • Three Run Book Action policies:
    • Restorepoint: Difference between Last Two Backups
    • Restorepoint: Link to Last Configuration Backup
    • Restorepoint: Recent Logs
  • The "Restorepoint Event Enrichment" Run Book Automation policy
  • The "Restorepoint: Generic Action type" Run Book Action
  • The "Restorepoint Connectivity" Dynamic Application, which validates the type of credentials used by Restorepoint
  • The "Restorepoint Automation" Credential

Issues Addressed

The following issue was addressed in this release:

  • Updated the PowerPack to use the new "/apilogin" endpoint to address an issue that caused the integration to break.
