Version 100 of the Cisco: ESA PowerPack is the initial version. This PowerPack includes Dynamic Applications, Event Policies, Device Classes, and Device Classes for discovering and monitoring Cisco Email Security Appliances (ESA).
- Minimum Required SL1 Version: 8.7.1
Before You Install or Upgrade
Ensure that you are running version 8.7.1 or later of SL1 before installing "Cisco: ESA" PowerPack version 100.
For details on upgrading SL1, see the relevant SL1 Platform Release Notes.
Installing the PowerPack
To install this PowerPack:
- Familiarize yourself with the Known Issues for this release.
- See the Before You Install or Upgrade section. If you have not done so already, upgrade your system to the 8.7.1 or later release.
- Download the "Cisco: ESA" version 100PowerPack from the Support Site to a local computer.
- Go to the PowerPack Manager page (System > Manage > PowerPacks). Click the menu and choose Import PowerPack. When prompted, import "Cisco: ESA" version 100.
