Version 100 of the Dell EMC: Unity PowerPack adds the ability to discover and monitor Dell EMC Unity storage systems using the Unisphere REST API.

Before You Install
Ensure that you are running version 8.7.0 or later of SL1 before installing "Dell EMC: Unity " PowerPack version 100.

Installation Process
To install version 100 of the Dell EMC: Unity PowerPack, perform the following steps:
By default, installing a new version of a PowerPack will overwrite all content in that PowerPack that has already been installed on the target system. You can use the Enable Selective PowerPack Field Protection setting in the Behavior Settings page (System > Settings > Behavior) to prevent the new version of the PowerPack from overwriting local changes for some commonly customized fields.
To install this PowerPack:
- Familiarize yourself with the Known Issues for this release.
- See the Before You Install or Upgrade section. If you have not done so already, upgrade your system to the 8.7.0 or later release.
- Download the "Dell EMC: Unity " version 100PowerPack from the Support Site to a local computer.
- Go to the PowerPack Manager page (System > Manage > PowerPacks). Click the menu and choose Import PowerPack. When prompted, import "Dell EMC: Unity " version 100.

Known Issues
The following known issues affect version 100 of the Dell EMC: Unity PowerPack:
- A "BulkStatsNotSupportedError" error might periodically display for the "EMC: VMAX Statistics Cache" Dynamic Application. If this occurs, "CacheDataIsEmpty" errors might also display for the "EMC: VMAX Array Stats", "EMC: VMAX LUN Stats", and "EMC: VMAX Storage Group Stats" Dynamic Applications.
