Version 1.0.0 of the "Google Cloud Platform" SyncPack provides a unidirectional integration of SL1 events into the Google Cloud Platform distributed event stores, such as Pub/Sub, Cloud Task, Google Cloud build (sending event details as build information), and Error Reporting services for troubleshooting and remediation.
This SyncPack uses the "Google Cloud Platform Automation" PowerPack.
Features Included in this Release
This release of the "Google Cloud SyncPack includes the following PowerFlow applications:
- Close SL1 Event And Delete GCP Task. Closes the event in SL1 and deletes the associated task in the Google Cloud Platform.
- Resolve GCP Event From SL1. Resolves the event in the Google Cloud Platform from SL1.
- Send SL1 Event To GCP Build. Sends an SL1 event to the Google Cloud build.
- Send SL1 Event To GCP Error. Sends an SL1 event in response to a Google Cloud error.

Send SL1 Event To GCP Pubsub. Publishes a message to the GCP Pubsub service when an event is created in SL1.

Send SL1 Event to GCP Task. Sends an SL1 event to a Google Cloud task.
The following configuration object is included in the SyncPack:
- GCP Base Config. This configuration object can be used as a template after the SyncPack is installed on the PowerFlow system. The configuration object includes the following:
- Details for connecting to the SL1, including the host, username, and password.
- Details for connecting to Google Cloud, including the URL, username, password, and API token.
- Details for adding SL1 events to Google Cloud including project, event URL, severity, account, and request type ID. Other details include issue type, project key, priority, ticket descriptions, and impact.
- Details for severity mapping.

- Publish Event Details To GCP Pubsub

System Requirements
This release of the "Google Cloud Platform" SyncPack requires:
- SL1 PowerFlow platform version 2.4.0 or later.
- SL1 version 11.2.0 or later. For details on upgrading SL1, see the relevant SL1 Platform Release Notes.
- "Google Cloud Platform Automation" PowerPack version 100 or later.
- Google Cloud Platform version 1.0.0 or later.
- Administrator access to the Google Cloud Platform.

Installing the SyncPack
A SyncPack file has the .whl file extension type. You can download the SyncPack file from the ScienceLogic Support site.
To locate and download the SyncPack:
- Go to the ScienceLogic Support site at https://support.sciencelogic.com/s/.
- Click the PowerPacks & SyncPacks. tab and select
- In the Search field, type the name of this SyncPack and select it from the search results. The Release Version page appears.

After you download a SyncPack, you can import it to the PowerFlow platform using the PowerFlow user interface.
To import a SyncPack in the PowerFlow user interface:
- On the SyncPacks page, click . The Import SyncPack page appears.
- Click .whl file for the SyncPack you want to install. You can also drag and drop a .whl file to the Import SyncPack page. and select the
- Click PowerFlow registers and uploads the SyncPack. The SyncPack is added to the SyncPacks page. .
You cannot edit the content package in a SyncPack published by ScienceLogic. You must make a copy of a ScienceLogic SyncPack and save your changes to the new SyncPack to prevent overwriting any information in the original SyncPack when upgrading.
To activate and install a SyncPack in the PowerFlow user interface:
- On the SyncPacks page, click the button () for the SyncPack you want to install and select Activate & Install. The Activate & Install SyncPack modal appears.
If you try to activate and install a SyncPack that is already activated and installed, you can choose to "force" installation across all the nodes in the PowerFlow system.
If you do not see the PowerPack that you want to install, click the Filter icon () on the SyncPacks page and select Toggle Inactive SyncPacks to see a list of the imported PowerPacks.
- Click SyncPack is activated, the SyncPacks page displays a green check mark icon for that SyncPack. If the activation or installation failed, then a red exclamation mark icon appears. to confirm the activation and installation. When the

- If you have other versions of the same SyncPack on your PowerFlow system, you can click the button () for that SyncPack and select Change active version to activate a different version other than the version that is currently running.
