Version 103 of the Pure Storage PowerPack upgrades the PowerPack to Python 3 and addresses an issue with an alert policy.

To discover Pure Storage Purity FlashArrays, you must enable API access and include the API key in the Basic/Snippet credential. You must also set the discovery session's Initial Scanning Level setting to 5. Deep Discovery and the Detection Method & Port setting to TCP 443 - https.
Before You Install or Upgrade
Ensure that you are running version 11.3.1 or later of SL1 before installing "Pure Storage" PowerPack version 103.

Installation and Upgrade Process
By default, installing a new version of a PowerPack will overwrite all content in that PowerPack that has already been installed on the target system. You can use the Enable Selective PowerPack Field Protection setting in the Behavior Settings page (System > Settings > Behavior) to prevent the new version of the PowerPack from overwriting local changes for some commonly customized fields.
If you are currently using the Dynamic Applications in this PowerPack to monitor devices, collection errors might occur for one or two polling cycles during the installation of a new version. To prevent collection errors during an upgrade, you can optionally disable collection for monitored devices before performing the following steps and re-enable collection after the upgrade.

To install this PowerPack:
- Search for and download the PowerPack from the PowerPacks page (Product Downloads > PowerPacks & SyncPacks) at the ScienceLogic Support Site.
- In SL1, go to the PowerPacks page (System > Manage > PowerPacks).
- Click the Actions menu and choose Import PowerPack. The Import PowerPack modal appears.
- Click PowerPack file from step 1. and navigate to the

- Event Policies and corresponding alerts that are triggered when Pure Storage devices meet certain status criteria
- A sample Credential for discovering Pure Storage devices
- Dashboards that display information about Pure Storage devices
Enhancements and Issues Addressed
The following enhancements and addressed issues are included this release of the "Pure Storage" PowerPack:
- Updated PowerPack to Python 3.
- Addressed an issue with the "Pure Storage: SAS Returned To Healthy Status" alert policy that caused the alert to use the wrong collection object.
NOTE: If you upgrade to "Pure Storage" version 103, the "Pure Storage: Volume Snapshots Config" Dynamic Application continues to log errors during discovery. The logging will only occur for the initial device discovery.
