Deprecated steps

Warning

Future versions will remove these steps. They still ship and still work today, and each logs a deprecation warning when it runs. Migrate existing workflows to the replacements listed below, and do not build new workflows on them.

They are documented here so that engineers maintaining existing workflows can read what they inherited, and so that the migration path for each one is written down.

One step per HTTP method, rather than one step with a method parameter.

QueryGQL

GQLRequest

DirectCacheRead

ReadFromCache

DirectCacheRead bypasses the content manager.

QueryGQL to GQLRequest

QueryGQL inherits from QueryREST and carries that step’s REST-shaped assumptions. GQLRequest inherits from Shared parameters: HTTPBaseStep directly and is the supported GraphQL step.
