Authentication

The REST: Toolkit PowerPack’s authentication feature requires a “Rest snippet framework” credential for configuration. With this credential, there are several authentication types you can choose from.

Note

The “Rest snippet framework” credential, is only available in AP2. To access the credential, you must navigate to Manage -> Credentials -> Create New.

The available authentication types include:

• Basic Authentication
• Token Authentication
• API Key Authentication
• OAuth2 Authentication

Each one of this authentication types has a different set of requirements that need to be met for usage. After you select your desired authentication type from the “Authentication Type” field, the corresponding fields will appear for that type.
