This section lists the key metrics for Microsoft Azure services that the "Microsoft: Azure" PowerPack collects by Dynamic Application. Coverage of these services uses service-specific APIs that collect performance and configuration metrics that generate alerts and events. Coverage also includes DCM+R to Resource Groups, Networks, Network Security Groups, Subnets, and Storage Accounts. It also collects any alerts that Azure generates and aligns them to component devices.
For some services, partial coverage exists that is not service-specific. This partial coverage includes some configuration information, such as health status from the Resource Health API, CMDB sync, status events, and Azure Unified Alerts.

| Origin Host Header | The host header value sent to the origin with each request. If you leave this blank, the request hostname determines this value. Azure CDN origins, such as Web Apps, Blob Storage, and Cloud Services require this host header value to match the origin hostname by default. If endpoint uses multiple origins for load balancing, then the host header at endpoint is ignored and this one is considered. |
| Origin Host Name | The address of the origin. It can be a domain name, IPv4 address, or IPv6 address. This should be unique across all origins in an endpoint. |

| HTTPS Port | The value of the HTTPS port. Must be between 1 and 65535. |
| Is Compression Enabled | Indicates whether content compression is enabled on CDN. Default value is false. If compression is enabled, content will be served as compressed if user requests for a compressed version. Content won't be compressed on CDN when requested content is smaller than 1 byte or larger than 1 MB. |
| Is Http Allowed | Indicates whether HTTP traffic is allowed on the endpoint. Default value is true. At least one protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) must be allowed. |
| Is Https Allowed | Indicates whether HTTPS traffic is allowed on the endpoint. Default value is true. At least one protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) must be allowed. |
| Optimization Type | Specifies what scenario the customer wants this CDN endpoint to optimize for, e.g. Download, Media services. With this information, CDN can apply scenario driven optimization. |
| Origin Host Header | The host header value sent to the origin with each request. This property can only be set when the endpoint uses a single origin. If you leave this blank, the request hostname determines this value. Azure CDN origins, such as Web Apps, Blob Storage, and Cloud Services require this host header value to match the origin hostname by default. |
| Origin Path | A directory path on the origin that CDN can use to retrieve content from, e.g. contoso.cloudapp.net/originpath. |
| Probe Interval | The number of seconds between health probes. Default is 240sec. |

| Resource State | Resource status of the endpoint. |
| Tag Key | Tags key. |
| Tag Value | Tags values. |
| Traffic Restoration Time (Min) | Time in minutes to shift the traffic to the endpoint gradually when an unhealthy endpoint comes healthy or a new endpoint is added. Default is 10 mins. This property is currently not supported. |

| Microsoft: Azure OpenAI Performance | |
|---|---|
| Object Name | Object Description |
| Active Tokens | Total tokens minus cached tokens over a period of time. Applies to PTU and PTU-managed deployments. Use this metric to understand your TPS or TPM based utilization for PTUs and compare to your benchmarks for target TPS or TPM for your scenarios. |
| Availability Rate | Availability percentage with the following calculation: (Total Calls - Server Errors)/Total Calls. Server Errors include any HTTP responses >=500. |
| Blocked Volume | Calls being rejected by content filters. Unexpected spikes could indicate misuse or overly aggressive filter configuration. |
| Generated Completion Tokens | Number of tokens generated (output) from an OpenAI model. Applies to PTU, PTU-managed and Pay-as-you-go deployments. To break down this metric, you can add a filter or apply splitting by the following dimensions: ModelDeploymentName and ModelName. |
| Harmful Volume | Calls flagged as harmful. Important for compliance and abuse monitoring. |
| Managed Utilization | Utilization % for a provisioned-managed deployment, calculated as (PTUs consumed / PTUs deployed) x 100. When utilization is greater than or equal to 100%, calls are throttled and error code 429 returned. |
| Processed Inference Tokens | Number of inference tokens processed on an OpenAI model. Calculated as prompt tokens (input) plus generated tokens (output). Applies to PTU, PTU-managed and Pay-as-you-go deployments. To break down this metric, you can add a filter or apply splitting by the following dimensions: ModelDeploymentName and ModelName. |
| Processed Prompt Tokens | Tokens consumed as input. |
| Requests | Number of calls made to the Azure OpenAI API over a period of time. Applies to PTU, PTU-Managed and Pay-as-you-go deployments. To break down API requests, you can add a filter or apply splitting by the following dimensions: ModelDeploymentName, ModelName, ModelVersion, StatusCode (successful, client errors, server errors), StreamType (Streaming vs non-streaming requests) and operation. |
| Time Between Token | For streaming requests; model token generation rate, measured in milliseconds. Applies to PTU and PTU-managed deployments. |
| Time to 1st Byte | For streaming and non-streaming requests; time it takes for first byte of response data to be received after request is made by model, normalized by token. |
| Time to Last Byte | For streaming and non-streaming requests; time it takes for last byte of response data to be received after request is made by model. Applies to PTU, PTU-managed, and Pay-as-you-go deployments. |
| Time To Response | Recommended latency (responsiveness) measure for streaming requests. Applies to PTU and PTU-managed deployments. Calculated as time taken for the first response to appear after a user sends a prompt, as measured by the API gateway. This number increases as the prompt size increases and/or cache hit size reduces. To break down time to response metric, you can add a filter or apply splitting by the following dimensions: ModelDeploymentName, ModelName, and ModelVersion. This metric is an approximation, as measured latency is heavily dependent on multiple factors, including concurrent calls and overall workload pattern. In addition, it does not account for any client-side latency that may exist between your client and the API endpoint. Refer to your own logging for optimal latency tracking. |
| Token Cache Match Rate | Percentage of prompt tokens that hit the cache. Applies to PTU and PTU-managed deployments |
| Tokens Per Second | Enumerates the generation speed for a given Azure OpenAI model response. The total tokens generated is divided by the time to generate the tokens, in seconds. Applies to PTU and PTU-managed deployments. |
