Version 101 of the "Datacenter Advanced Enrichment: Cisco IOS-XR Policies" PowerPack fixes several defects. This is the first GA version of the PowerPack.

  • Minimum Required Skylar One (SL1) Version: 8.10.0

Before You Install or Upgrade

Ensure that you are running version 8.10.0 or later of Skylar One before installing the "Datacenter Advanced Enrichment: Cisco IOS-XR Policies" PowerPack.

For details on upgrading Skylar One, see the relevant Skylar One Platform Release Notes.

You must also install version 202 or later of the "Datacenter Automation Utilities" PowerPack before installing this version of the PowerPack.

Installation or Upgrade Process

If you are currently using the Dynamic Applications in this PowerPack to monitor devices, collection errors might occur for one or two polling cycles during the installation of a new version. To prevent these errors, disable collection for the monitored devices before you complete the following steps. You can then re-enable collection after the upgrade completes.

To install this PowerPack:

  1. Search for and download the PowerPack from the PowerPacks page at the ScienceLogic Support Center (Skylar One > PowerPacks).
  2. In Skylar One, go to the PowerPacks page (System > Manage > PowerPacks).
  3. Click the Actions menu and select Import PowerPack. The Import PowerPack modal appears.
  4. Click Browse and go to the PowerPack file from step 1.
  5. Select the PowerPack file and click Import. The PowerPack Installer modal displays a list of the PowerPack contents.
  6. Click Install. The PowerPack appears on the PowerPack Manager page.

See the Datacenter Advanced Enrichment Policies PowerPacks for instructions on using the new PowerPack.
