Version 102 of the "NVIDIA: GPU Monitoring" PowerPack adds support for Gen 3 agent deployment and updates the execution environment used by the PowerPack's Dynamic Applications.
Before You Install or Upgrade
Ensure that you are running version 12.3.1 or later of Skylar One before installing the "NVIDIA: GPU Monitoring" PowerPack.

Installation and Upgrade Process
By default, installing a new version of a PowerPack will overwrite all content in that PowerPack that has already been installed on the target system. You can use the Enable Selective PowerPack Field Protection setting in the Behavior Settings page (System > Settings > Behavior) to prevent the new version of the PowerPack from overwriting local changes for some commonly customized fields.

To download and install the PowerPack:
- Search for and download the PowerPack from the PowerPacks page at the ScienceLogic Support Center (Skylar One > PowerPacks, login required).
- In Skylar One, go to the PowerPacks page (System > Manage > PowerPacks).
- Click the actions icon and choose Import PowerPack. The Import PowerPack dialog box appears.
- Click [Browse] and navigate to the PowerPack file from step 1.
- Select the PowerPack file and click . The PowerPack Installer modal displays a list of the PowerPack contents.
- Click . The PowerPack is added to the PowerPacks page.
If you exit the PowerPack Installer modal without installing the imported PowerPack, the imported PowerPack will not appear on the PowerPacks page. However, the imported PowerPack will appear in the Imported PowerPacks modal. This modal appears when you click the menu and select Install PowerPack.
In version 101 and later of the "NVIDIA: GPU Monitoring" PowerPack, GPU indexing uses the universally unique identifier (UUID) if a serial number is reported as "N/A" or unavailable. If you upgrade from version 100 of the PowerPack and your environment previously reported "N/A" serial numbers, you might notice changes in performance graphs and newly created GPU objects in configuration views. This behavior is expected, and data and graphs should fully normalize after two to three polling cycles.

- Dynamic Applications that discover and collect data from NVIDIA graphics processing units (GPUs)
- Event policies and corresponding alerts that are triggered when NVIDIA GPU devices meet certain status criteria
- A sample SSH credential ("NVIDIA GPU Monitoring - Example") that you can use to create your own NVIDIA credential
- A device template ("NVIDIA GPU Monitor Template") that aligns NVIDIA Dynamic Applications with devices
Enhancements and Addressed Issues
The following enhancements and addressed issues are included in this release:
