The following table contains a list of new features that were documented in the latest version of SL1, along with links to the corresponding documentation in HTML and PDF format.

Updated the Collections tab in the Device Investigator to add support for single row selection, which opens an existing sidebar.

Introduced a Setup and Config page () that displays all information relevant to getting started in SL1 for administrator-level users. Included on this page are a number of intuitive self-service workflows that will guide you through the most common SL1 system tasks. You can access this page through left-hand navigation menu in SL1.
Added a new node configuration utility that admin you can access at <IP address>:7700/node-config using the em7admin account. The Node Configuration Utility is the other utility application you can use to configure and edit your SL1 appliance. In the Node Configuration Utility, you can view the Collector Connection Status, configure the Proxy Server, and add and edit a Bonding Interface.
You can now update the web configuration password by using the node configuration utility.
Removed all licensing information and licensing menu options from the classic Web Configuration Utility at <IP>:7700.
SL1 no longer specifies the default credentials when adding an SL1 collector to a stack. As a result, you will need to specify the credentials for the collector on the Appliances page in the DB User and DB Password fields.

You can now write Dynamic Application snippets using Python 3, create Python 3 execution environments, and import Python 3 ScienceLogic Libraries.
To support the ability to create Python 3 execution environments, you can now use a new Environment Type field on the Environment Editor page (System > Customize > ScienceLogic Libraries > Actions > Execution Environments > New) to select which version of Python you want to use for new environments.
A new Env Type column now appears on the Environment Manager page (System > Customize > ScienceLogic Libraries > Actions > Execution Environments) to indicate the Python version for each execution environment.
On the ScienceLogic Library Manager page (System > Customize > ScienceLogic Libraries), a new Python Version column indicates the Python version of each library listed.

Configuration files for rsyslog were completely updated. This new configuration gives you the option of
configuring TLS to send or receive syslog messages, forwarding logs to a security information and event
management (SIEM) tool, filtering inbound logs, and other features.
New columns were added to the Collector Groups page, and new fields were added to the Add/Edit Collector Group modal.
For new installations of SL1 version 11.3.0 from the SL1 ISO file, the default MariaDB user will be "clientdbuser". This user has the same password as em7admin and root, and the password is set during the initial installation. The "clientdbuser" user does not have root privileges.
